AWSOME Product

Dexpan is the safest and most affordable product on the market! Used it many times and never disappointed. Still have all of my fingers too...

Works just like they said. There was a learning curve on mixing the right amount of water. Once I died it in worked great. Im going to use this instead of jack hammering form now on.
Good on super-hard concrete

I rented a jackhammer to tackle breaking up an old slab. A few of us concluded I had six-sack concrete because of how hard it was. After 2 hours I hardly made a dent. I ordered Dexpan type 2 through Home Depot and followed the directions. I rented a rotohammer and 1.5" diamond bit. After pouring in the Dexpan, tiny cracks appeared in 8-10 hours. In 24 hours, the slab was fractured sufficiently to remove the pieces with a bobcat.
Very impressed...

We were in the process of digging a hole for a pool and smack-dab in the middle we uncovered a concrete mammoth. My best guess is left over concrete buried from footings or a basement pour – probably 8 to 10 yards of concrete. I worked at it with a Jack Hammer, but to no avail. Years ago I watched a YouYube video on non-explosive concrete demolition. With very little internet research I found Dexpan, a product from ArcherUSA. Late at night after a very frustrating Saturday of wailing at my underground treasure with a huge jackhammer, I ordered a case of their “Demolition Powder.” It was spring time, and weather in Northern Utah is unpredictable. Warmish afternoons, near freezing nights. The process took a little bit more time because of the cold temperatures – BUT IT DID IT !!!
Dexpan Works.

Dexpan works great, as long as you follow instructions. If you pay attention to detail this is one of the best ways to break rock and concrete.
Better than TNT

I have used Dexpan for about 10 years now in concrete , CMU walls and granite rock. The concrete breaks into manageable pieces to be removed by a small skidsteer or excavator. For hard to reach areas that are too steep for heavy equipment , boulders are broken down and moved with pry bars. Great product , great price , great value.
